Tail light serpents slither by

The tail light serpents never die
to and fro at nine and five
never slowing never done
keeping time and kept alive

a godless dawn electrified
the tail light serpents
slither by
bleeding ties and pleated pants
SUVs like army ants
the tail light serpents slither by

nine to five will never die

Yes, that little birdy is right... I was trying to come to TO...

but things like long distance travelling alone and the money thing all sorta piled up and kept me from coming... which was a big disappointment for me... but you'll have that.

I tried to write a poem about cars at a traffic light, and it was blase, and uninspired. I really like what you did with the everday, and turned it upside down.

I've changed my commute time, so I don't get to see what I described so much anymore... but I often thought of tail light serpents as I sat on an overpass... at a traffic light... at dawn.

Perhaps I'll take a snap of that place.
