Oh, so we're allowed to soil this thread, is that it? Because you know I have no shame, I'd soil ALL the threads if I could!

But, I think you're right, no more soiling here.
Where can we soil? Your backyard or mine?
My neighbours backyard! Hee! Hee!

I had to mop up my monitor after reading that hormonal drivel.
ANYWAY. LOL.
Tim: you are more than welcome and anytime and all that I'm-here-as-an-ear type of stuff.
I am recalling what B.E. said about this just being a message board, but I do admit that I come here and post as some sort of catharsis. this is the coffee house I wish was near me and you are the people I would die to meet at said coffee house.
Add a touch of Irish Creme and Kahlua and we've got ourselves a night's worth of incredible conversation and revelation. World changing stuff, to me. The poetry lies within the discoveries, it always has.
Funny thing is: our one night's worth of conversation and revelation is equivalent to a month's worth or a year's worth to so many other people. I don't know that it makes us better, but I do believe it makes us more whole in some way.
On the other hand, there is the fact that we all are missing parts elsewhere, so what can I say?
Hope I didn't just soil your thread further. If I did, I tracked it in off the goddam welcome mat, and it wasn't my fault.
I'm stepping in front of the gushing hydrant in a hurricane. I'd like to see the traction I keep.
Originally posted by setaside2 I am telling you, it needs to be a yearly thing where we all just find a way to meet up. Flight, train, fucking greyhound, whatever it takes.

I did say it is just a message board but it's a damn fine message board! But I meant it like--don't take us so seriously! Yes, sometimes we're serious but, it's not like we're out to "get" anyone or anything, we're just relating on a personal, yet distant level.
I hate coffee shops but I do so love booze coffees!!!!!! I think we should meet in at nice, snow-covered cabin somewhere and sit & drink our spiked coffees in front of the fireplace and converse.

Originally posted by setaside2 My dear, you have never been to a couple of the coffee shops around here.
I am NOT talking of the Gloria Jeans, Starbucks, Einstein's Bagels corporate bullshit.
Those are the McDonalds of processed beans.
no no I am talking where poetry still exists and where the coffee still kicks.
but I'll take a nice snowy cabin anytime.
And there are plenty of really nice snowy cabins around Colorado hereabouts. But I'd go anywhere for this.
And we could finally chat about the GODDAM POETRY PRESS THINGY. so there.
I visited Colorado a few years ago. Saw Colorado Springs, Denver, went up to Cripple Creek, checked out the Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Amphitheatre, Mile-high stadium for a Broncos vs. Vikings match up in some major snow, our buddies girlfriend took me to a lingerie party, he was stationed there with the Cdn. navy so we got to check out the base & buy some really cheap booze & smokes (back when I smoked butts)---it was a great! Lots of lovely scenery!

I'd heard you were gone! Glad to see the rumors weren't true!!!
How do rumours get started?
They're started by the jealous people
And they get back with something they had
And somebody else is holding.
Thanks for returning in full force Radar!!!!!!!

I hate to be a fuddyduddy... but... well... yah, it's appreciated.

I'm in.
Why not? Truly. Why not?
I'm in, too!

I've lived in 5 states now and Colorado is by far the best of them.
Florida is still the worst. And I've lived in WYOMING man, so that's saying A LOT.
and Fuck Dick Cheney, speaking of Wyoming.
sorry had to get that out.
We need to figure out how to get sevensins out of his hole for these get togethers.
So when's it gonna be, huh? HUH?
You'll have to work on sevensins but if you need any help---just ask.
I'll see what I can do about Mark. Poor bastard. He may not be able to go do to his MINOR status...
I cannot imagine talking with his parents. They'd have me arrested for assault due to the things I would say to them.
You can get arrested for VERBAL assault down there?
I could get into lots of trouble!
yeah, I'd be totally arrested.
