APB on a Yoda-Theft

P A S A D E N A, Calif. — Not even the Force could protect Yoda from some thieves.

Police in Pasadena are looking for a 170-pound bronze statue of the Star Wars Jedi master that has been missing since the weekend of Jan. 17-18.

The statue's owner, Lawrence Noble, said the missing Yoda was one of four that were bolted to a flatbed truck parked outside a motel. Noble said the collectible was commissioned by Lucasfilm and is worth approximately $20,000.

Noble is offering $1,000 for information leading to Yoda's return. Pasadena police say they consider the Yoda-napping a burglary and have asked the public's help.

As Yoda himself might say, "Me, help find."
