First Ever

Because I feel like it... here's the first poem I ever wrote ever in my life ever ever.

Confusion
Autumn 1994

She says the sky is blue
Yet she paints it red
She builds for me a mountain
Only to have it crumble into the abyss
She walks into a room
And changes to match its shade
Poor undecided child
Can't choose from black and white
Thus she paints everything gray

    I was crazy virgin, man. I was 15 (which, in my high school, if you still carry your V-card at 15, you're a prude)... I'd had one open mouth kiss in my life... and this was my first love. And she loved my best friend.

    ARGH! There was a huge drama at school that year. We were such losers. :)
