Ok Ok, I literally wrote this in 3 minutes so I have done no editing to it so I know it might not flow right (I haven't even read over it) but I thought I'd get it down before I forgot it (Cuz I'm lazy and won't go to the store to buy pape) so this is just off the top of my head right now.

Back in the year 2003
Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
Leaving behind his family
Not knowing where he's gone

Magnus Palm, left his life
His 20 children and 6 wives
He was young, only 25
Trying to start a better life
Where everything goes alright
Where no one knows his name

Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
Leaving behind his family
Not knowing where he's gone

No one knew if he was dead
If he wasn't he should have said
Mother stayed crying in her bed
For her son to come home safe

Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
Leaving behind his family
Not knowing where he's gone

The cops pulled his car off the road
Magnus Palm, his story was told
Two years went by now 27 years old
His family convinced him to come home
Where he is safe and well

Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
Leaving behind his family
Not knowing where he's gone

He's wanted for breaking Norwegian laws
While trying to break free from society's claws
Magnus Palm said "he learned a lot"
But all the time he never forgot
Life without his family was hell

Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
Leaving behind his family
Not knowing where he's gone

Now he's home finally, at last
2 years went by so fast
The future's unclear as his present and past
Up the coast he drove

Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
Leaving behind his family
Not knowing where he's gone

"Magnus Palm where have you been
It's good to see you once again?"
"I had to get away awhile, my friend,
To a place called Europe

Magnus Palm pushed his boat to sea
leaving behind his family
Now knowing where he's gone
"I'm a thief, and I dig it"

I like it, but all I could think of was: anyone with 6 wives to satisfy and twenty children would probably need to run away!!!! :p

  • Lol yeah, i read this story in my local paper and I thought it'd be fun to write a song about. It's all true except that part that you said, 6 wives and 20 children, I don't know why I wrote that in.
