We’re not getting any younger
Seems like only yesterday I learned to walk
Now days go by faster and faster
I got myself a full-time job
When I hear the sound of her voice
It makes me feel just like a little boy
Who’s seeing the world for the very first time
Never understanding someday you’re gonna die

We both had dreams when we were young
Needs to fulfill but we never made them come true
Here’s to our friends who got away
Don’t blames yourself, babe, I blame you
When I see kids laughing and playing
I hear a voice in my head keep saying
Don’t sit and regret mistakes from the past
Tomorrow’s a new day, you’re gonna make it last

We thought we’d live forever
In this life forever means never
I’m not ready to surrender
Let’s sit back and watch
The night grow younger

Let’s take a ride into Paradise
Where our dreams will come true the rest of our lives
Where the sunshine lasts through the night
Where there is no hunger and the blind have sight
Everybody’s hung up it seems
Nothing’s impossible inside a dream
You have to close your eyes and when you awake
You can have anything, the world’s yours to take
"I'm a thief, and I dig it"
