Cinderella World

She's living in a dream world
And it only makes her smile
What she thinks will last forever
Will only last awhile
She sings her song of love
And dances with romance
Twirling, shimmering, like a baton
While she still has the chance
In time the sky will unleash its rain
The earth will tremble and quake
There are visions of many crying
On the grounds of her own wake
It's a Cinderella world
Her very own Cinderella ball
When the clock strikes twelve
Who will catch her when she falls?
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

  • Ah, the Cinderella bubble, fun for a time but the bubble always bursts and a rush of reality comes flooding in. Thanks for sharing, PJammin'! :)
