This isn't a poem, but I wanted to post it here.
To my best friend,
I am sorry for all the pain I have caused, there is no way in the world I could ever make up for it. I know that I have strung you along, beating you with a stick and stabbing you with a knife when ever I had the chance. I know that there aren't enough words to describe what I have done, but I would like you to know that I want to start over, clean slate and all. You mean the world to me, and I can't go on living life without knowing that you're ok. I love you, and when I say that, I don't mean it in "that way." I love you like a friend and that's all that really matters to me. I know this sounds selfish, as I have always been, but please, forgive me of my sins.

Don't let the world bring you down, not everyone here is that fucked up and cold. Remember why you came and while you're alive, experience the warmth before you grow old.
