I Don't Believe.....................

It rained for days
God may have been crying
Above the clouds
Sight lines unobscured
Seas were poisoned
Earth's lungs were being cut down
God gazed into the vast universe
Could it all begin again?
God may have thought
The universe would keep their minds occupied
The specter of killing time
Upon returning to view creation
Humans now wanted to be like the creator
No thanks for the life granted
Idols to fill idle time
God thought about the river dolphin
The do-do.....
Countless other species
They were to be a part
Of the whole puzzle
Again, god looked out to the black of space
The stars twinkling
Like the eyes of a new born
Taking more in
Then comprehendible
God gazed back upon the Earth
Sick of, the killing in the name
Of god
Of god,
Being on the right side
God couldn't believe
The view through the ozone layer
It rained for days
God must have been crying
You've changed your place in this world!

    This is an excellent peice of work. As many of us that ponder what god thinks...or even how he thinks for that mayyer... i've never seen the subject tackled in this manner. Beginning and ending with the same line really gave this a good sense of closure...good jorb
