Went to the well today
Fumbled with some change
Found that lucky coin
Made my usual wish
Looked into the dark abyss
Felt wishes escaping past my face
Let my coin go
Listened
As it seemed to fall forever
Never knowing if my coin ever did reach the bottom
Maybe that is why
My wish never comes true

Take a walk upon that green, grassy hill
To the beautiful stone walls
That house the wishing well
Standing at the edge
Hearing that echoing, hollow sound
Pull out that shiny penny
Hold it up to catch a glimmer of sunlight
Pinch it between your thumb and middle finger
Close your eyes and breathe deep
Exhale slowly and whisper a wish
Then
SNAP
PING
PING
PLUNK
Open your eyes, smiling and hopeful
That the well will grant a promise for the future

Nast, king of the run on sentences, I've got a little ole semi-colon that'll fix that tiny problem:
