Nine leaf filled parchment bags
Lined up on curbs edge
A visible liason of time
A lush, July lawn in mid November
Yielded like a sacrafice to a god
It will arrive!
Technology has told me when
The day after pick-up
Ironic?
When death in parchment
Leaves, to help create life anew
Jack Frost declared squaters rights
His cheeks must be glowing red
Unrelenting wind chimes
Interupted only by the creeking house
His dandruff left upon lawns and roofs
You've changed your place in this world!
