the flames have all gone
to ash and to smoke
the sky melting down
as clouds whisper to hope

the phoenix has risen
as the soul finds its peace
the cadence grows stronger
with love and belief

the wind hums a tune
the sun kisses the cheek
the trees open their arms
as the streams start to speak

the oceans are calling
mountains wait patiently
with the stars and the sky
and a heart that is free
