i know this isn't a poem but i don't "talk" in the other forums. all my friends are here. please forgive the transgression.

anyway - i've applied for a job in alaska and i'm nervous and excited and i really hope i get it. its a long shot but i've always dreamed of living there and having a job all lined up beforehand would make all the difference in the world.

and if it wouldn't be too much trouble for my pals to cross their fingers and toes and whatever else can be crossed for me...i'll luv ya for always.

(well sadly for you i already luv ya for always even if you aren't inclined to cross your fingers for me.)

My friend is going for a trip there in a few weeks and I was so envious!!

gracious thank you's to you TheA - the weather is supposed to be pretty extreme compared to most other places in the US but have you seen this place? the sky and mountains that continue on for always? makes my heart giggle just thinking about it. the daylight is the only thing that concerns me but i figure if you have good people around you daylight or lack thereof are only details. besides....the aurora borealis is supposed to be pretty spectacular.

and nailz - if i get there i'll be just a hop, skip and a jump away.

what a celebration i'll have and of course you're all invited. but man i think i'm gonna be bummed if this doesn't work out. its been so much fun thinking this could happen sooner than later - but if it doesn't than it just isn't my time.

off on my trip now....enjoy the weekend and for those in the states...enjoy your memorial day as well.
