anyone in this forum ever read it? i've been reluctant to give it a go.

once i finally got through the floods to my house on saturday i spent my time reading it this weekend. i haven't stopped thinking of it since but don't have a soul in the world to discuss it with. i've assigned it to a couple of trusted people but it could be weeks before they can get to it. is there anybody out there willing to chat about it?

    It's a book by Daniel Quinn. I haven't read it. Apparently PJ were very influenced by it during the conception and production of "Yield".

    is it ever a book but then again for some it turns out to be something more of an experience.

    at the moment my head is still kinda spinning from it but i'm glad i took the time.

    ah well it was worth a shot. thought i'd try my luck here before i ventured off to the bad place.

    like a lamb to the slaughter, off i go. ;)

    Hey! I've read it!! :D It makes you really think and reevaluate how you see the world and all the creatures in it. I highly recommend it. :)

    yeah i thought it was pretty interesting myself. funny thing is, i could have sworn that i had 'my ishmael' around here...but after giving up on that notion i started reading an isaac asimov book about the millenium and oddly enough he is discussing many of the same issues addressed in ishmael.

    many more questions to answer...and things to consider. :D

    I'll definately have to check into it Coleen....although I have about 7 other that I haven't got around to yet with all the stress thats going on right now.
