I packed my bags and jumped in my truck and began wandering around the country. Going places I've never been, talking to people I never dream. Making discoveries along the way that will last to my very last day. Did you know that enough tears will make a rainbow? Did you know that a smile is like a powerful magnet? Did you know that a stranger's words can touch your heart and bring you peace?

Wandering around the country making discoveries along the way. We forget people are still friendly and inviting as I sat playing music around a campfire, watched a local baseball game and constantly reminded myself he's only 19 must be the uniform, as I watched my dog run free and crazy, as a sat down at the local cafe and was greeted and treated like a life-long resident. Wandering around making new discoveries, making new friends, and finding that the spirit we hold dear is still alive.

Maybe it was my green eyes that made the world seem jaded and caused my spirit to fade, As I mounted that horse and rode free across the ranch, all the questions of why faded with the dropping sun and I knew it was time to go home.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

  • What a great piece of writing, Puremagic.
Good to see you. I was wondering how your trip was going
You made it home safe and happy?

That looks like the first chapter of my autobiography if I ever write one! Travelling, seeing new things and meeting people. It has become an addiction for me. I love walking out the door and going, and I love the feeling walking back into my home from a trip, too.

You're so right, "a smile is like a powerful magnet". It's the most important luggage that there is! Don't leave home without it.:)

I am glad you had a good time young lady. As C.Hynde once said: "I've got a smile for everyone I meet". Just you and your dog. Sounds like something from the wild, wild west. My green eyes haven't jaded my view of the world and I hope your's never do either.
You've changed your place in this world!

No wonder we can't sit next to each other on Moving Train, who would have thought.
