Realization

I was just touched today
A feeling of overwhelming sadness
Then came a feeling of sad joy

I can learn to live with my loneliness
I’ll just smile and watch others
My eyes dancing for them

When they ask what’s wrong I won’t reply
Just a quick nod and a smirk
Maybe I’ll laugh

I was just touched today
I know it won’t change
Realization has come through

I know longer have to be stuck
I’ve seen what I’ve ignored
That little bit of denial is gone
Oh yeah it’s all here

I feel stupid but I’m glad
Better then being jaded
For once I can see out my window
I use to see nothing but now I see myself faded

I was just touched today
i have to remain at top sassiness, even though my inner sass is struggling

    I don't like your sad song
    and maybe the sight of a
    new flower will at last
    bring back the sass.
