Laughs to herself thinking of herself
Sees the newly formed lines on her face
Remembers those old curvy lines that are now so straight
Plucks her golden hair concentrating on those that lie
Laughs to herself thinking of herself
Pulls out her old albums and her old dresses
Loses herself to the music and her old faces
Laughs to herself thinking of herself
Calls her old friends but they do not answer
Drops a solid tear
Laughs to herself thinking of herself
Turns off the music and puts the dresses away
Wipes off the smile
Then laughs to herself thinking of herself
i have to remain at top sassiness, even though my inner sass is struggling
