V-day

A note on your windshield with a lollipop attached you got at the bank, a sinlge rose on your windshield let's you know you are loved. Call me old fashioned but it is beautiful. A single kiss you got in his dirty work clothes in my office and not caring if you smell like diesel. A grab at your hair pulling it out of my eyes so I can look at his. A stolen kiss in the car at a stop light on the way to dinner. Telling me i'm beautiful.


i just wrote this to a response on another board and thought I should put it here for some reason.

    I make sure I tell my baby how beautiful she is frequently. She gets all bashful and sorta looks at me sideways with this shy smile...

    It's pro'ly the most endearing thing ever... and I've said this before about her...

    She makes rainbows shoot out of my fingertips.

    That being said, I hate all things Valentine's day and refuse to acknowledge it in any way.
