I wanted you to come
You didn’t call
I waited for some reason
I gave it time

No more do I have to give
Everything you saw was what it was
Now it is gone
I know it was me
It always is

I look in the morning for a sign
Scraping off the ice on my car
Push my hair back
Wipe my running makeup from my eyes

Smoke my cig
Turn on my turn signal
Sickly hoping I get hit
Look at my face in the rearview mirror

I wanted you to come
Yet I am not here
i have to remain at top sassiness, even though my inner sass is struggling

another one that has stuck something special and deep within me.. you do have that effect with your words.... your location.. it all... i can't even describe what your words make me feel...
