I passed by a window today
I think I saw your face
A reflection
You were next to me

In that brief glance
Speechless
I was smiling you were too
It was me reaching for you

Then I hit the pavement
A car gave me back reality
I stepped back
Looked behind me
Yep it was all in my head
i have to remain at top sassiness, even though my inner sass is struggling

    Very cute. I like the funny the ending, it's exactly how reality hits you sometimes-just like a big car.

    It's funny how you'll see such things in odd places. It'll get you excited, and make you happy for a moment, until reality comes to. It always breaks my heart over again.
