alright now,
face at rest.

sway head.
stagger halls.
swing and fall.

hack phlegm.

make space for a flutter’s sty.

jar bright islands,
face your archipelago,
and straighten your tie.

Sing.

fall, snap, swing.

that’s right,
chin to chest.

you are dismissed.
