Anybody here read music literature/books?

I've always stuck to fiction whenever I read, but right now I'm reading "Hammer of the Gods: Led Zeppelin Saga" and also just ordered the Beatles anthology. I almost bought that Layne Staley biography but it got disastrous reviews so I decided not to....

Anybody know of any other good music literature or have any suggestions?

    I recently read a book called It Still Moves: Lost Songs, Lost Highways, and the Search for the Next American Music by Amanda Petrusich.

    Not the most comprehensive book ever written, but I enjoyed reading it.

    i have many books on music. too many to list here. the last one i bought was infinity blues by ryan adams. my fave is whats welsh for zen? by john cale.
