Cornell's Scream Or Chinese Democracy

Lol, topic of the year !


I go with Scream, both have silly lyrics and overproduction, but at least Cornell voice is top form AND Chinese's impotent big guitars + pompous synthé are worse than pompous synthé alone.

I kind like both in very small dose for their own bad taste but axl is too strong in the bad taste category for me

    I am one of Cornell's biggest fans... but CHINESE DEMOCRACY and it isn't even close. I'm hoping Scream eventually gets cancelled and CC makes an album of tunes similar to Two Drink Minimum.

    Chinese Democracy is actually good, whereas Cornell's Scream is a desperate last cry for relevancy.

    Yeh I like the new GNR more with every listen.

    As for Cornell, I to am a huge fam, but there is not a chance i am buying his new album.

    Let's face it guys, Chinese Democracy sucks in a bad 'hamburger' taste kind of way, not in a cool bad taste kind of way like Electric six, a band very synthé by the way haha

    at least Cornell doesn't whine, he keep his pride in a strong hand, look at these lyrics 'that bitch ain't a part of me', a quick analyse of this sentence made me think he's mature enought to not be a easy whiny like oncle axl, + Chris is taller, look younger (without botox (and without plastic cyborg hairs))and his range more consistent, his teeth made me think he met the perfect dentist, and man ......i mean, even if the dracula voice of Street of dreams is funny, i still prefer a real voice even if the lyrics are 'Take a minute to tell you right
    And you can say what you want'

    You guys must look at this competition Chinese Vs Scream with a different angle, in fact you must come with the same conclusion as me or you'll be wrong.

    what the fuck are you 12 years old man? i'm a huge cornell fan as well---audioslave was the first live band i ever saw and it rocked. i still look back on that day and it was fucking awesome but his new shit is just awful and he's taking the typical rockstar way out of a great career. shit like scream doesn't even come close to a single word in the liner notes of chinese democracy. and believe me---there's a hell of a lot of them too man. don't even compare those two albums. what's next? are you going to compare creed with pearl jam?

    Listening to Def Jux doesn't make you cool, snobbish or an avantist, it means you're white.

    Is Scream actually out there in its entirety? I've heard about 4-5 songs off the record and id say Chinese Democracy easily...and im not all that high on that one either.
