hooray! new conor oberst album!
listened to some tracks off it, and I LOVE IT!
'moab' is an awesome little ditty, gotta be one of my favorites on there!
and 'milk thistle' is pretty good, as well
this guy's got a great voice!
and you should check him out

anyone else love conor??

    I'm liking it so far. Saw him at Bonnaroo and he is great live. Will be seeing him and Jennie Lewis (from Riley Kiley) at the Ryman in Nashville next month - I am excited to hear his new stuff live.

    Conor is great. Haven't heard the new album yet, I pre-ordered it on amazon but it was only dispatched on Friday so hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow morning. Seeing him for the first time at Reading Fest in 2 weeks and then the London gig a few days later, can't wait.

    Overall, I'd say Conor/Bright Eyes is a touch hit and miss at times (to be expected when he releases so many albums), but some of the tracks are really amazing. I can see why some people wouldn't like him for his barrage of lyrics, but that's his strength IMO. Digital Ash in a Digital Urn has some great production touches, so annoyed I didn't see him on that tour.
