Cuomo tells Billboard he has “no idea” when the tentatively titled “Odds and Ends” will be released, but describes it as “just another fun project to do. They’re great songs, but for some reason they didn’t make the final cut for [a] record. They span a vast period of time from the very beginning of our career in the early ’90s right up to the present day.”

Meanwhile, Cuomo says Weezer may tour next spring with Oasis, and is hoping to enlist Spike Jonze to direct a video for the song “The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived” from its recent “The Red Album

    cant wait for the b-sides album, would love to see them tour with oasis, love alone 2, red album is my favorite album of '08 ... that is all for now..haha.
    Who cares if the world is going down the toilet? Eddie Vedder got his mojo back!
  • I would love an Oasis tour date in Dallas. However, if they do decide to come through I hope they leave Weezer behind. I would rather see Oasis as a main headliner than have to see a dual headliner show with both Weezer and Oasis.

    I used to bow at the altar of Weezer back in the Blue album and Pinkerton days. I even really liked the Green album. I just think they have gotten bad from Maladroit and on, or maybe my musical tastes have just changed to the point where I can no longer enjoy their musical progression.

    Either way, I just really wish that Oasis would come play in Dallas. I thought they were great on the Don't Believe The Truth tour stop they made here with Jet and Kasabian.

    They have proceeded with their music, but as fan from the blue album, like you, I wouldn't say their has been a progression.....more like a regression. They are one of those bands I continue to buy their albums just because and I always like a few songs but the total product is mostly junk.

    And I'm with you about Oasis....except I need them in Memphis or New Orleans
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    Two bands that share a common bond........two incredible records to start their career and then it is pretty much all downhill from there.

    Except, for both of them, their second record is their best (Morning Glory, Pinkerton)
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}

    The Weezer I loved hasn't been the same since Make Believe, although overall I like that record. But the two new singles bother me, so I haven't bothered listening to the new album yet.
  • who cares??? Oasis is irrelevant and Weezer has not not been good in over ten years

    Weezer is absolutely overrated IMHO (no offence)

  • speaking of Oasis...does anyone know where I could find download of their unplugged show? A million years ago I had a video that I got off of Kazaa (goes to show how long ago it was). I was hoping to put this on a CD. I have always loved Noel's singing and liked hearing his takes on some of the songs that Liam normally sings.

    pm me if you can help me out. It would be greatly appreciated.
