I was severely disappointed with it. I loved the direction they were heading with Sing the Sorrow, moving slightly away from their punk roots but still allowing those roots to influence their rock music. Decemberunderground went into an entirely different and seemingly aimless direction. The whole thing felt like an awful experiment. If Davey wanted to do the electronic stuff, Blacq Audio would have been an appropriate outlet for it.

And for the poster who think they suck, their three albums leading up to Decemberunderground are outstanding. Black Sails in the Sunset is my favorite punk album of the last ten years.

Old AFI was great. New stuff, not so much.
