I saw their show a few months back. Used to be really into them about 10 years ago. I went to the show for nostagia. I had a good time.

Strung Out are a really, really good band. I would put Ultimate Devotion and Mind Of My Own up there with any SoCal punk. I also like that they are a metal heads and their dream slot would be to open for Slayer.

Pennywise - Full Circle is freaking awesome.
  • I love Pennywise
    strung out is decent

Strung Out is awesome... Transmission.Alpha.Delta is their best stuff yet,
Going to see them on Saturday in Tempe with NOFX, Rancid, the Offspring and (ugh) the Vandals (they are awful). Somehow Strung Out is playing before the Vandals, makes no sense.
There is another stage and the headliner is A Day to Remember but I'm not into the emo/screamo stuff... All sound like 3 Days Disgrace to me
I know this is an old thread... I was Into Pennywise in the early 90s, but their stuff doesn't hold up well to me. NOFX, Bad Religion, some Rancid, Strung Out, Propagandhi, SNFU, Pulley, Millencolin, TSOL seem to sound better to me now. Bro Hymn is a timeless classic, but they haven't evolved much in my opinion.
  • That clown still frightens me.

Reason to Believe is a great album. Dig a lot of their songs from other albums, just think Reason to Believe is solid all the way..

saw strung out at warped tour about 7 yrs ago
Billy Idol was playing at same time, so a smaller crowd, but they were awesome.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

Strung Out kicked ass on Saturday in Tempe. Going to see them on the 16th in Calgary!
NOFX and Rancid also were awesome.

Misses a lot of the south stage stuff, but The Used is awful. How is anyone into that tripe?
