“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

my dream "metal" show. It is only 7 for now if i think of more i want there i'll add them
hmm, interesting... if my festival was all metal, it might look something like:
Darkthrone
Atheist
Cynic
Death (admittedly Chuck Schuldiner is dead but still)
Burzum (never played live to the best of my knowledge so this would be cool)
Maudlin of the Well/Kayo Dot double headliners
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

That is cool I like a bit more mainstream metal as you can tell from the bands i picked. I respect what burzum, death, and darkthrone have all done just not my cup of tea.
I'm not familar with the others. Again though i never said i was a huge metal head i just like some bands.

I'm definitely a fan of Opeth and Mastodon, great picks, although Mastodon had such awful sound when I saw them that I can't tell if they were good live or not. Maybe their style just doesn't transfer well to the stage.
Burzum, Darkthrone etc definitely seem to be an acquired taste, it never used to be my thing, that's for sure. I just really got into black metal recently.
