So I've been listening to AiC the past few days and I'm wondering if they recorded their albums using a binaural method. I really notice a fullness and richness to the sound. As well as a number of layers of sound to the tracks. Does anyone know if this is the method that they used? Thanks :)

No, I don't think so. Jar of Flies was self-produced, so I doubt they used that technique for that album.
Can't escape from the common rule...
