Help me find a new band, please.

I really enjoy good goth type rock with female and male vocals. Stuff with a lot of melody. Some of the tracks off the new Opeth is exactly what type of music I am looking for. Giant Squid is another band like that. Nothing cliche or super contrived, Evanescence like, eww....

Any suggestions?

The singer is a female who goes back and forth between singing and cookie monster vocals. I saw them open up for Megadeth last year. They put on a pretty good live show.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would like to find something with more melody though. And a big ol' guy with dreads... uh-oh.

I had one of their albums at one point. A couple songs made me think of the almighty Floyd. I'll give them another shot. Prog-ness suits me fine, just not when it seems too overly driven towards virtuoso playing. I'm picky This song is nice.
I know for certain I wish they didn't exist so I could still their band name... Porcupine Tree, great!

Nightwish was mentioned... I don't know maybe I'm not explaining myself well enough. These bands sound overproduced and not genuine to me. Honesty is a must.

The band is called kent, swedish that has been around since -95 best album in my opinion is Isola, they sing in swedish, but made 2 albums in english.
