Chester is singing Ed's part. Write your opinons/thoughts here. I don't think it's as good as the one with Ed. Ok,I'll just say it,this song is nothing without Eddie! And that guy from Linkin Park makes it bad.

    i have seen this posted about a dozen times, and every single time a "die-hard" Pearl Jam fan complains about Chester singing Ed's part, yet are so fucking retarded they don't even know what part Ed actually sings and that THAT ISN'T IT.

    Which leads me to believe most pearl jam fans don't even listen to the actual music.

    Ed is pretty horrible on Mankind huh? And don't even get me started on his horrible vocals on Don't Gimme No Lip. And his falsetto on DTE? My god.

    Try listening to the music without your fingers in your ears for once. N00b.

    I'm pretty sure Chester sang Eddie's 1st verse and then after that he sang CC's part while CC sang Eddie's part. At least that's what happened on the clip that I saw. So in a way, you're both right but you were probably off base being so vehement trying to make a point. I don't want to watch it again because....

    .... as I said in another thread, I'm always interested to see who Eddie or CC have sing the other guy's part when Hungerstrike is on a set list. I've seen Andrew Stockdale with Eddie and Shaun Morgan with Chris. I've seen Brad Wilk sing Eddie's part from the drums.

    But Chester Bennington, in his wife beater, is the first time I've been embarrassed about a guy singing the song. Not so much that he's bad as much as I hate his image and the type of music he makes. Sad, sad, sad....

    Maybe you should listen to the song. Chester first sings Eddie's part then does Chris' screaming part.
