Funky Cold Medina just came on our Jack FM station. What a great song! It's enough to make a no-rhythm having, white guy (me) get up and dance :p!

    Tone Loc was not a gifted rapper, but he used great samples.

    young mc wrote funky cold medina AND wild thing. young mc is a gifted rapper and intellectual writer....i saw young mc and he was awesome live, he did a song called "fastest rhyme" and it was crazy, faster than the studio, here:

    tone was a pretty good rapper with a gimmicky voice

    loc-ed after dark is a solid album, they just reissued it on delicious vinyl...cheeba cheeba is a great great song off that..

    Funky Cold Medina recipe:
    1 oz Absolut® vodka
    1 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
    1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
    top with cranberry juice
    ice

    directions: Pour over ice and top off with cranberry juice.
