Good news for anyone who, like myself, couldn't get tickets to the Foo's show at MSG in NY... Fuse is gonna be airing it live! I hope they show Against Me!'s set as well, but I'll be happy with just Foo Fighters. here's some more info on it.

  • Yeah I had heard about that but had forgotten it it coming up. Should be good
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
  • yea it's gonna be awesome, wish i was going. they say uncut but you know grohl's gonna drop a few f bombs, wonder if they'll censor it since it's on so late? found the trailer for it on youtube.

Show last night was really amazing. I have to say after Pearl Jam shows, this might have been a top 3 show I have ever seen. Terrific live band. Grohl is a great front man.

They did do an acoustic set in the middle, on a different stage toward the rear of the floor. If I remember, acoustic was Skin and Bones, Marigold, My Hero, Cold Day in the Sun and But Honestly. As the band went back to the main stage, Dave did acoustic Everlong with the band joining in at the end electrically.

Rest of set list I recall:
    Let it Die
    Pretender
    Times Like These
    Breakout
    Learn to Fly
Cheer Up Boys (Your Makeup is Running)
    This is a Call
    Stacked Actors

    then the acoustic set

    Monkey Wrench
All My Life ( which was insane live)

    ENCORES:
    Big Me
    Long Road to Ruin
Best of You (with all MSG screaming along...unreal closer)

I know it was on Nirvana's box set and it was on the Pennyroyal Tea single.

Dave played guitar and sang on it while Kurt played drums.

Agreed.. saw them last night in Philly for the 2nd or 3rd time. A solid 2 hour show with more bells and whistles than previous tours. The small stage set was a definite plus and highlight.

5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.

Thanks for posting the review! I'm leaving to see tonight's Foo Fighters concert as soon as I make this post and log off. Hopefully it lives up to expectations. I've heard nothing but positives about the FFs in concert.
