NYC VFC Screening Entry
Hey all-
I work at a student center at NYU and I have reserved 3 locations on campus that can host a screening- 75, 180 and 300 seats respectively...
My submission details how the campus would be an ideal location and culture to premiere the film...
If selected, it will be open to the public
50 students have already committed to attending if our entry is chosen
Obviously, I expect NY PJ folk to turn out as well
Email me with any questions and I'll keep you posted if our entry is selected
Fingers crossed

November 3rd, 6:30 PM
Please feel free to rsvp to the facebook invite so we can get an idea of how many people plan to attend! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=32871493292
One of the film crew will be there to introduce the film!
In addition we are contemplating part of the night being a fundraiser for Head Count ( http://www.headcount.org ) and Chocolate for Change. ( http://www.chocolateforchange.com/ ). Of course anyone can come and view the documentary without paying. Head Count is a “nonpartisan, non-profit organization dedicated to voter registration and inspiring participation in democracy through the power of music.”

Description
In 2004 two film makers followed Pearl Jam's Vote For Change tour to Reading PA, Toledo OH, Grand Rapids MI, St Louis MO, Asheville NC and ended up in Kissimee FL. Along the way they met with and spoke to hundreds of fans and just ordinary people about voting, democracy and politics in general. They cut the interviews into the live performances from each city, along with a few exclusive interviews with each band member. It is the first rock and roll tour film that WE know of shot entirely in super 8mm film with an amazing sound track recorded live and mixed by Brett Eliason.
In addition we are contemplating part of the night being a fundraiser for Chocolate for Change. ( http://www.chocolateforchange.com/ ). Of course anyone can come and view the documentary without paying.
