For someone who loves R.E.M as me -- and have money -- it´s very nice.

R.E.M.'s seminal, groundbreaking debut album, MURMUR, turned 25 earlier this year, and, in order to mark this milestone, Universal music will release an anniversary deluxe version of the record tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th.
MURMUR DELUXE EDITION features two discs: the first, a re-mastered version of the original 12 songs including such standouts as "Radio Free Europe," "Sitting Still," "Talk About the Passion," and "Pilgrimage." Disc two is a live-recording of the memorable 1983 Larry's Hideaway show in Toronto, long considered a must-have performance in the vast R.E.M. bootleg canon among the collector cognoscenti. The live disc includes at total of sixteen tracks, among which are 9 cuts from "Murmur," two songs which would eventually be included on 1984's "Reckoning," three tracks from "Chronic Town," a Velvet Underground cover, and "Just A Touch," later released on the band's fourth album, 1986's "Lifes Rich Pageant." The live disc is truly a snapshot of a band at a special moment in their career.
The package's liner notes are written by Mitch Easter and Don Dixon, who produced and engineered "Murmur" back in the day. I.R.S. employees Michael Plen, Jay Boberg, Carlos Grasso, and Sig Sigworth each contribute their thoughts on and memories of working on the record in the liner notes as well.
