Cleaning out my 1000+ cd collection and came across this cd by KINGDOM COME and played it.

I liked this song....Get It On and WHAT band does it sound like?

I think this band maybe from the late 80's.

Peace

I think they were a late 80's hair metal band that used to get regularly flamed for sounding a bit too much like Led Zeppelin. Mind you, with my memory the way it is, I could be wrong?
  • that guy sounds almost exactly like Robert Plant. I guess they are what would have happened if Led Zep survived into the 80s and became a hair band.

the verses vocals sound like the vocals for Kashmir.

I think we found "Creed" of the 1980's

if i remember right, they got so much hype for being the 2nd coming of led zep that i think their debut went platinum in preorders. i think they might've been on one of those pre-lollapalooza group tours with metallica, too. monsters of rock, maybe.

right on the money. they opened the Monsters of Rock tour. I thought they had a few good songs on their 2nd disc, but for the most part a very forgettable band.

yes, they were more famous for being a total zeppelin ripoff than anything else...

by the way, as side info for this band (not that anyone wants it), their drummer was a guy named James Kottak, who is currently the drummer for the Scorpions after original Scorps drummer Herman Rarebell left the band... and yes, the Scorpions are still around...

wow, i should probably just go to bed instead of adding random crap like this. haha
