Check out Rushup Edge by The Tuss. It's believed to be made by Aphex Twin, for several reasons including the use of a rare synth that Richard James owns (and is one of only a handful who does) and is on his record label. It's unconfirmed but it is pretty much accepted that is it Aphex Twin. Great album.

My Morning Jacket and The Dandy Warhols, right now. We'll see what else comes along this summer.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

If he actually calls his album "Nigger", I don't care if it's shit, it's going in my best of 2008 list.

So he says. He has come under fire from people like Jesse Jackson and been given support by Ice Cube amongst others. Some artwork was released too which, if real, is hilarious.

"A consistently good band works all the different elements well. A song has to appeal sentimentally, intellectually, physically, viscerally, and dig deep down into your soul and suck you into it. And after that, of course, it'd be a matter of taste." ~ Kim Thayil from Soundgarden

The Steepwater Band album being produced by Marc Ford.

    Neil Young's Toast album.

My Morning Jacket's Evil Urges, although I'm kind of iffy on what I've heard so far.

Local H's Twelve Angry Months should be a fun listen.

Kind of on the fence about the new Filter. They've always been hit and miss with me.

My wife will want the new John Mellencamp album.

Not sure what else is on the horizon. So much has come out already this year with the new Black Mountain, North Mississippi Allstars, Drive-By Truckers, moe., Widespread Panic, Howlin' Rain, Black Crowes, Raconteurs, and Black Keys albums. Only moe. and Panic have been disappointments, the rest have been solid to excellent.

Boris are playing in London on wednesday and I'm not back in London til Saturday. Pissed off. It'll be a small venue too. Would've been awesome.

    "Nigger" by Nas

 it was suppose to be out in February then pushed back to April and recently just read Rolling Stone saying it'll be out in the summer around July.

Which means his album is definitely finished, right?
Just the PC bullshit stuff that's preventing it to be released?

Nas should just pull a radiohead/NIN on the hip hop community. He don't need no stinkin' Columbia or DefJam!!!

That and the free Dr. Pepper.
