The Ladies of Luscious Jackson

I recently downloaded what Rolling Stone and Spin magazine called Best Album of 2007, M.I.A.'s Kala, and after listening it reminded me of Luscious Jackson, so I had to pop in Fever In Fever Out and Electric Honey .
FIFO was a decent album but if you have a chance to listen to E. Honey , you should give it a shot, probably my second favorite album from 1999 behind Make Yourself.
I'll also add that Jill & Gabby were extremely HOT
! And Kate the drummer was part of the Beastie Boys' early punk root.

Natural Ingredients is probably my favorite album by them, Electric Honey is pretty good as well. I didn't think FIFO was that good, only a couple of keepers on there. I don't have Make Yourself (is that song 'Daughters of the Kaos' on there? That's a great tune).

Back to LJ, I was still in my early teens when they were active. I believe they broke up in 2000 when I turned 18. Never got to see them live at all.
