Greatest Rock Song

I apologize if this has already been a thread but i cant find it if it is - im interested to hear what people would say they think is the single greatest rock song of all time. One that epitomizes rock music at its finest.

I have two in mind so ill put both - Roadhouse Blues by the Doors and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. Doesnt get much better then that IMO.

    Machine Gun - Hendrix - the absolute pinnacle of rock music in my opinion. Hell, pretty much the pinnacle of music period as far as I'm concerned.

    Im surprised nobody has mentioned anything by Zeppelin yet - Stairway would be to easy but what about something like When the Levee Breaks?

    coming into this thread i wasn't sure what i would go with, there seemed way too many great songs to choose from.

    but i think you hit the nail on the head. that song encapsulates what rock is all about, more than anything else i can think of right now.
