Marilyn Manson Hires Ex-Limp Bizkit Guitarist

By: Don Kaye

Marilyn Manson has hired former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland to play in Manson's touring band, according to Blabbermouth.net. Manson announced the news at a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, just before the group performed there on Friday (August 15th). Well-known for his dislike of Limp Bizkit, Manson said, "We have a new guitar player that's gonna play for the first time tomorrow; it's the first time we'll play on stage (together). His name is Wes Borland and he used to be in a really terrible band that he left because he felt that it was a destructive force in art...We don't know how permanent (the lineup) is, but starting tomorrow will be the first step. So this will be the most indestructible Marilyn Manson."

Borland himself said that his own current band, Black Light Burns, will also continue. Borland wrote online, "I am joining Marilyn Manson for the time being, but as I said before, Black Light Burns is still going strong and I have no problem operating in two bands."

Manson is said to be working on a new album, which he plans to release next year. There's no word on the status of his proposed debut as a feature film director, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll.

Meanwhile, Manson has also opened his own online art store, where he is selling his own original paintings and creations. You can check it out at marilynmansonartworkonline.com.

everyone who isn't a pretentious snob.
You can't spell "dumb" without DMB
  • as much as a hate Limp Bizkit and Fred Durst, i kinda thought Wes Borland was the only one with any talent in that shit band. Seems like he quit when he couldnt take the embarrassment of being in that terrible band anymore.
  • He admitted he left because he was embarrassed.

really, how about those who don't listen to SHIT?
  • I have all the MM albums and some singles, most of which I've always felt were ok at best and pretty awful in some cases, however, Mechanical Animals is among the finest albums ever produced.

Marilyn Manson is such a douchebag. How old is he now, like in his 40's?

Is it too late for him to try to be a regular person instead of a cartoon character?

Yeah Marilyn, you're such a rebel, you're so anti-establishment, you really scare me with your makeup and transgendered costumes.

I think this assface should just stop making music, get married and become a banker or something. It would be far more meaningful than anything he's done so far.

As far as Limp dick, seems like a perfect match for him. Useless twats working together.

Last I heard, Rob Holliday was going to be his new guitarist, but I saw a video on youtube a couple nights ago and heard about this and thought, "wow, that's pretty fucking terrible." However, Black Light Burns wasn't all that bad and I'm sure Manson's new album will kick ass, especially since Twiggy is back!
