Why do I keep hearing his name linked with Pearl Jam? I've seriously never heard of him before! Never in a good light either. What has he got to do with Pearl Jam?

Oh. He's from Creed. Nope, I didn't like them.

That's bloody funny. Thanks.
Oh and this is pretty funny too:

So who the hell buy's their records? No one likes them, especially the singer and they don't even sound like Pearl Jam.
'The title of this thread fills my heart with glee' - I wasn't joking! It sounds funny now, when I have read about him.
I worked in a record store between 1999-2002... pretty much Creed's golden era... we shifted a lot of Creed records, unbelievable amounts. Who bought them?
90% of them were Country music fans, soccer mom's, 12 year olds, religious types, rednecks, people that buy "Now" records, etc. Essentially people that were not serious rock music fans.
And yeah a lot of other people too, people who bought good music, sometimes did indeed buy Creed music, but the reason they sold 30 million records or whatever, is because of that list above. If you subtract that list above, Creed sells less than a million records each time out.
The most unique thing about Creed, is that no one ever cared enough to know the names of the songs or the records, I never got any sermons on how cool they were (like I did with other bands), no really cared, they just bought the damn things.
And what do these people listen to now? Not Creed.
Interesting, thanks.
'The most unique thing about creed, is that no one really cared about the names of the songs or the records' was pretty funny, although I have been a Pearl Jam fan for 14 years now, I still don't know the names of all of their songs. I just love their music with a passion.
dreamer in my dream
we got the guns
i love you,but im..............callin out.........callin out
dreams about Him are always dodgy.
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
Chris DeBurgh is da bomb.......sometimes.
seriously he wrote some amazing tunes - don't pay the ferryman!!!!!
"Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world." Herman Melville : Moby Dick
Funny! And what do these people listen to now? American Idol contestants! Seriously, there is that wholesome, pseudo-religious demographic element that just loves them some Creed and Clay Aiken. Or really any of the female contestants that put out records except for the black girl. She's too black, you know.
pj it´s in this page too

Thanks. I was determined not to laugh at that but it was so ridiculous, I couldn't help myself. Who writes this stuff?
He is a LEGEND.......search out the video with him and Kid Rock in the tour bus......talk about multi tasking!!!.....and as always as Scott so eloquently put it "It is good to be king"
His lyrics better than Bob Dylan.
His vocal range better than Aretha Franklin.
Stage presence better than Michael Jackson.
And the staying power of the Rolling Stones.
Sarcastic much?
