I bought the Glasvegas album last week and it has not been out of the stereo since. The band are from Glasgow, Scotland and the album is fantastic. The last album that gripped me to the extent that this one has was The Killers Hot Fuss. The're some really moving, gripping and poignant songs on there. Is anyone else on to these at the moment?

There have been a few successful bands in recent years from Glasgow that have really annoyed me like Franz Ferdinand and the Fratellis for example, but there is something about Glasvegas i really enjoy and they have been really good live when ive seen them. I know some people with similar music taste who really dislike this band so must be a bit of either love or hate them!!!

Think Daddy's Gone is a great song, but i like everything ive heard from them so far. Think they are supporting KOL on their UK tour.

they're pretty good. not my favorite- but pretty good nevertheless. if i'm not mistaken, iTunes had a 'Geraldine' up for download a few weeks ago.
