    They were going to be called Shame but there was a musician recording under that name already and he threatened to sue, knowing that a member of Pearl Jam would likely bring a lot of money, so they called the album Shame instead and took the guy's real name, 'Brad' for the band to stick the finger up to him figuratively speaking.
