What does everyone think of this band? They are on of my favorites- they always put on one hell of a show.

Rank their their albums:

1. Statement
2. Recoil
3. Live and Kicking (includes a CD and DVD of their performance from Club Revolution)
4. To the Pain
5. Development

Anyone have any live boots of these guys, please PM me!

  • Amazing live band. I lived in SW Florida for a long time so I was able to catch them live several times. Starting back in the Statement days. What A Day is incredible.

Not many people are aware of who they are though.

    Love the live DVD.

Don't have any boots, sorry :(

I agree, which is sad. They're currently on tour with Hellyeah- wow!

Sad indeed. I've turned several of my friends on to them, and it's rare that someone doesn't like them. Don't know why they aren't more well known.

Seems like they are constantly touring. They were here in eastern NC recently and I couldn't make it. Sucks. Can't wait for them to come back.

They are one of the benefits of living in Florida- they play here all the time. I get to see them at least once a year

Yup. Try out "Statement". It was their debut and is still my favorite album by them. So many killer tracks on that one. "Endure", "Mindtrip", and "What A Day" are a few of my favorite songs.

  • I used to have Statement on my computer probably... 6 years ago. I don't remember getting too into it but What A Day is a good song.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

the strange thing is that they are opening for Drowning Pool- I was shocked about this. The show is not a bad line-up though:

    Drowning Pool
    Nonpoint
    Egypt Central
    Core (Local Band)

    All for $20- not bad

Not bad at all. Opening for Drowning Pool? Weird. They had one big song and now they have a new singer. Oh well, at least you get to see Nonpoint :)

Actually, I think Drowning Pool is on their 3rd lead singer.

Dave "Stage" Williams - Vocals (2000-2002)

Jason "Gong" Jones - Vocals (2003-2005)

    Ryan McCombs - Vocals (2005-Present)

I sort of got to see Dave when he was alive- my wife and I got kicked out of Ozzfest 02 for smoking- so we sat out in the parking lot, drank beer, and just listened to a lot of the bands. And then back in '04, I got to see Jason with DP- they weren't half bad. So now, I guess I get to see Ryan sing with them next month.

But you're right, at least I get to see Nonpoint again. I missed them back in Oct when they came through town, but this time, I'll make sure that I'll be in attendance :)
