Att. New Yorkers! How bad are my MSG seats?

Night 1 - 406
Night 2 - 216 (apparently behind the stage)

I know..they must be pretty bad....but HOW bad?

Any help - greatly appreciated

    dude dont look at it like that. look at it like you are going to see pearl jam at the garden 2 nights and think about how fucking amazing it will be. it will be magical no matter where you sit!

    you're in the building. you'll be fine. section 406 is above the first sections of floor seats so you're not far from the stage. 216 is behind the left hand side of the stage.

    i am in 233 for the first night, and 409 for the second night. i am not bummed out about 409 at all because it is row B. that is a better seat than being on the floor, all the way the hell in the back.

    that's funny... at MSG2 in 03 i was in 216. i loved it.

    i sat in the 400s one, its not bad at all as long as your close to the stage

    mid arena
    pray that you're not near or under the low cielings.

    216:

    not bad, close to the band, youll be looking at thier rearends most of the night ,. and it appears that you lean more towards stones side and perhaps behind Booms keyboard setup .

    Yea.....for MSG II I got sec 343 Row F......so pretty much in the rafters....but I don't care too much.....cause I got 10 C ticks for MSGII and these rafter seats will just make me more appreciative on night II . I just hope the folks around me will understand my need to be on my feet jumping up and down....

    216 may get you into some of the new MSG DVD shots....

    The only bad thing about the 400's are that they are completely seperate from the other sections. Like if your in the 300's you can try to walk down the stairs inside the arena and end up at the 200 sec. and so on down to the floor. But you have to take a seperate escalator up to the 400's and that section overhangs the 300's by about 40 ft. so there is no possible way of getting a little closer (lower) if you are ambitious unless of course you bring your bungee, or parachute.

    I had a similar question. For MSG I I have seats in 222, row B and in 97 row H. In '03 I was in 119...just curious as to which is a better seat for those of you that have been in the loge. I'm guessing 222 is better, but never have scored a loge seat until now. Thanks!

    Look at it this way, you'll get a great front view of the band when they turn around to play Last Kiss.

    Sat in that section the last tour and had a blast and would do it again. It is great to see them from that angle and also to look out on the crowd is pretty cool.

    And what about 314? anyone sat there once. I have 2 tix for that section for night II. Also 10c tix for msg I so i'm ok anyway:D

    I sat in that section for U2 once and they were fine. I am sure you will have a great time and a good view.
