  • No matter how much I love em, my guess is Weiland was a no show... or more likely they are doing the announcement later since there was a private show scheduled also.
Minneapolis 98, Chicago 00, San Fransisco 00, Fargo 03, Thunder Bay 05, St Paul 06 (night 2), Chicago 08 (EV) both nights

    Don't it make you smile?

Private show w/press conference scheduled for 7-10 PST, so I don't expect much till after then. But, there is a whole new website and new forum, so that's a start.

It was announced on local radio they are playing St Paul June 6 at Roy Wilkins, I'm glad they aren't playing an arena here, Wilkins is the perfect size for them here.

But I thought that I heard that they were only playing arenas on this tour.

That's awesome. Its also on TM. You basically just list which songs are your favorites, hopefully the band will play them.

    Pretty cool idea I guess.

  • i doubt the news will be anything earth-shattering

they already announced a 65 date tour.

the major announcement is probably just to make a big deal out of it. they will release the dates, which will basically include every major city in the country.

if you live near a city that gets big shows, expect them to play near you this summer.

I'm excited that they chose Wilkins over Xcel or Target Center, those are too big for them. I saw STP at Wilkins in '00 just a couple days after seeing PJ at the Ice Bowl show, that was a good week for shows!

I'd assume the main website (http://www.stonetemplepilots.com), but that's down right now. Possibly due to them putting up the dates and updating the site.

Also, check out http://www.belowempty.com, amazing fan site that is constantly updated, they have all the info.
