There is news already of a new album coming out next year. I don't know if they can come up with anything better than their last one, no world for tomorrow, but I am sure it will be awesome.

    Hey man, I know I gave you a lot of shit for posting so much about them but I've been listening to this band a lot lately and they're pretty damn good. So I guess it was worth seeing all those threads now that I have a new great band to listen to.

    I really wish the above paragraph was true. Coheed still sucks and these threads are still annoying.

    But now because of you I hate the band. I didn't like them before..but now I Fucking hate them.

    Is it bad that I actually still find this somewhat amusing? I mean when I see a new thread with the unmentionable band name in the title and I look down and see created by 'musicfanpearl, a smile comes to my face. It's so completely absurd to me I can't help but sickeningly enjoy it. Reminds of the Seinfeld episode with Babu Bhat (sp?) with the Indian restaurant and he says, 'It's like watching a spider try to survive in the toilet', as in trying to get us PJ fans to like his shitty favorite band. Sorry I moved this back to the front page btw...but I couldnt help myself.

    Honestly, my favorite band is pearl jam. Thats why I am on the board. I have seen them 17 times. I think I got Shit and Present Tense are two of the greatest songs ever written, musically and lyrically. I just also find it amusing when anybody mentions another band in the "other music forum" everyone goes crazy and says they suck, just because it isn't pearl jam. Yeah, I have went overboard with this band, in part just to get a rise out of a few of the members on the board who think they are "above" everyone else. It is kind of funny. No use for more negative comments towards me, but don't think I am not a pearl jam fan. As a ten club member, I have always been in the first 4 rows at every show I have ever been to, so that gives you an idea of how long I have supported this band. On the last tour alone, I gave away 6 tickets to fellow members. Still, it makes me sick how some of you so called "fans" act on this board.

    I know it is ammusing, but hell, it makes me think twice about ever giving free tickets to message pit members, just on how they act on some things. Still, I find it funny when people question my legiance to pearl jam, considering I am usually miles of rows ahead of these people at shows.

    Haha, christ, what the hell makes you think you get these responses because people think you are being disloyal to Pearl Jam? It's because you've posted about 10 of them when ONE would suffice. You know you can add to a thread right? You could have made a "The official Coheed & Cambria thread" and it would have been fine, no one would have got annoyed and you wouldn't be acting ridiculously indignant. It's nothing to do with people questioning your allegiance to PJ (what a ridiculous idea anyway). I'll tell you and everyone else openly that PJ are NOT my favourite band but it doesn't mean I'm going to start a million threads about one other band I love because that would be freaking annoying, you get me? ONE IS FINE.

    People here love other music besides PJ. That's why we're in the "Other Music" forum. But like Jeremy1012 said, when you create a billion threads on a band that people aren't exactly partial to in the first place, KNOWING that it annoys people ("in part just to get a rise out of the members of this board"), don't try and claim you have the high ground here. Please. You're annoying, you know you're annoying, you brag about your 10c seats, and then you try to act like everyone besides you is completely unjustified. :rolleyes:
