I know nothing about this band, except the quote from axl about them being the eagles of shit metal. lol. That has got to be the funniest comment I have ever read. I feel sorry for the band, but I can't help but laugh.

    Axl called them The Pigeons of Shit Metal. I thought it was pretty funny.

    I wasn't putting them down soonforgotten, I said I knew nothing about the band except that comment. Pigeons of shit metal, that is hilarious. And for your Coheed comment, that was uncalled for. If you don't like Coheed, thats fine. Your loss. I think its funny that about 9 people on here want to dis Coheed and Cambria, yet I get private messages from many members saying they think they fucking rock. Everyone has their own opinion.

    EoDM are about three things and three things only: make some music, make some money, have a good time. No trying to change the world or save the whales here.

    If you look at my MySpace avatar you'll see Jesse doing what he does best: showing some love.

    And the band even had the coolest Pigeons Of Shit Metal t-shirts made. I'm fervently trying to hit them up for one...they're just too cool.

    The bastards had them specially made...and were very careful about the "guns and roses" logo making sure that the guns & roses were just different enough....only 2 roses, the guns are a bit smaller. They're no dummies.

    I'm currently begging for one.

    Check out my take on their last show with The Hives: EoDM & The Hives The same thing is on my MySpace page...look at it an see who I'm copping a feel of :).

    I prefer the eagles of death metal to anything that guns and roses have ever done. Not a fan at all!! Slash is a talented guitarist but i despise their sound.
    People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

    I never knew about them til I heard the song Welcome Home on my son's Rock Band...love the song. So I was intrigued and tried sampling some of their other stuff, but don't like anything else so far. Just the one song.

    He's that guy who had some success with that band called nuns'n'poses at the end of the 80's beginning of the 90's. He has since been trying to do a third record and has died while doing so ... poor bastard he'll be missed for the work he did his last 15 years = nothing, nada, niente, nichts, rien. If he isn't dead, he should be!!
