    Hearts fo Oak

    Def. Brucey, NIN, Pink Floyd, but I think this one is a little more subtle... just two awesome songs back to back:

    off of Beck - Sea Change
    Lonesome Tears -> Lost Cause

    Just the quietness after those strings rising in Lonesome Tears into the ahhs and reverb of Lost Cause sounds awesome.
    If I could, think I would give in.

    Beck's best album. These tracks are awesome. I still can't believe my favorite Beck stuff is the quiet stuff.

    I agree. There's so much emotion on that album which makes it an extremely good listen for when you're depressed, and even if you're not, it's good for just a mellowed out mood. I think it might be my favorite as well, I'm not really sure.

    I never really thought of it this way but you're right. I listen to it when Im depressed and it helps yet I listen to it when I'm studying or just chillin out also.

    and does anyone know why were talking about tracks 4 and 5? seems random.

    probably. not to change the direction of this thread but i would love to hear people's favorite openers/closers to CDs (so 1 CD but 2 songs). i'll just go ahead and start another thread (maybe now, maybe later)
