What's your favorite Grateful Dead song?

As we all know, the Grateful Dead have many great songs in their catalog. You can just list the name of the song, but I'm more interested in knowing what live versions of the song really stand out as true masterpieces.

For example:
Here Comes Sunshine- 5/26/73
Goin' Down the Road Feelin' Bad- 4/29/71
Bird Song- 8/27/72
China Cat-> Rider- 6/26/74
Scarlet-> Fire- 5/8/77
Eyes of the World- 10/19/74
Hard to Handle- 8/6/71
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

I'm aware that some of these songs are cover songs... that's okay to list as long as the Dead played it at one time or another.

p.s. that Hard to Handle from Fallout from the Philzone is HOT!!!

Ripple is a great song!! Check out the many great versions from 9/25/80 to 10/31/80. They played an acoustic set in every show between those dates and closed the set with Ripple each time. You can see a live version of the 10/30/80 Ripple on the DVD Dead Ahead.

I don't have specific dates, but some the of the songs that jammed together are my favorites:

Scarlet Begonias --> Fire on the Mountain
China Cat Sunflower --> I Know You Rider
Help On The Way --> Slipknot! --> Franklin's Tower
Dear Mr. Fantasy --> Hey Jude

Other standout live tracks? Smokestack Lightning w/ Pigpen, Alabama Getaway, U.S. Blues, Iko Iko, Wharf Rat, Black Muddy River, Don't Ease Me In.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Dark Star and St. Stephen off of Live Dead

songs that I love but can't think of a particular version:
    Franklin's Tower
Friend of the Devil (one of the first songs I learned on guitar)
Morning Dew - I know it's a cover but I think their version is the best

I'm a very casual Dead fan, by no means a "DeadHead," but I've always liked "Shakedown Street" and "Hell In A Bucket." I also saw them cover "This Could Be the Last Time" in Vega$ in the mid 90's, one of my favorite covers I've heard them do.

Never a BIG Fan of "Space." I guess I was too sober or something???

    GRATE summer music!

my faves- Box of Rain and Eyes of the World and Terrapin Station...though the list could go on and on...
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.

For me, Scarlet -> Fire from Cornell on 5/8/77 is easily the best song/track/performance from any band EVER!! Of course, Scarlet Begonias is my favorite Dead song of all time so I'm a bit biased.

Another phenomenal and touching performance is So Many Roads from Jerry's last show.

I don't know if it's my favorite, but Morning Dew from the Fillmore April 1971 is simply amazing and transcendent.
    Sleep on horseback
Far moon in a continuing dream
    Steam of roasting tea

I've recently gotten into The Dead. Bought Workingman's Dead and American Beauty (one solid album). Anyways I'd like to get some awesome Dead bootlegs, but have no idea which shows to get. Any suggestions? I'd be looking for higher quality recording, lots of country and jamming.
Would love to do a trade if interested.
    Thanks
